  • Is Mint Condition for a specific sport or for all competitors?
    Mint Condition is designed for athletes of all sports. The mental performance skills taught in this course are universal, and every athlete, whether in baseball, basketball, swimming, or any other sport, can and will benefit. The strategies we teach are about mindset, not the sport itself, making it applicable to anyone who wants to perform at their best.
  • What happens if my athlete misses a session?
    If your athlete misses a session, no worries. They’ll have access to the session recording and any resources shared during the call. Simply watch the replay and continue with the daily work. Additionally, Coach JA is available to answer any follow-up questions or clarify the material missed.
  • What is the difference between Mint Precision and Mint Condition?
    Mint Precision is an extensive one-on-one coaching experience with Coach JA, tailored to address an athlete’s specific challenges and goals, providing a much more personalized and intensive mental performance journey. Mint Condition is a group program that covers key mental performance areas like focus, confidence, and routines in a structured six-week course, allowing athletes to apply these skills to their training and competition. Both programs aim to enhance mindset and performance, but Mint Precision offers much more individualized support and guidance, whereas Mint Condition provides actionable strategies in a group setting.
  • What can my athlete expect to gain from Mint Condition?
    Mint Condition helps athletes learn how to build lasting confidence, manage nerves, and perform under pressure. They’ll develop strategies to bounce back from mistakes quickly, stay focused in the heat of competition, and create effective pre-performance routines. The course helps athletes better understand themselves and tap into their mental strength to consistently show up at their best in practice and during the game's biggest moments. Mint Condition is all about empowering athletes with a mental skill set that helps to maximize physical skills.
  • Why is mental performance training important?
    Mental performance training is crucial and, quite often, the missing link. It helps athletes develop the mental skills necessary to handle the pressure, setbacks, and competition challenges that sports and life provide. Physical skill is essential, but mental strength separates good athletes from great ones. It improves focus, belief, resilience, confidence, and the ability to manage emotions. All critical factors that can make or break an athlete’s performance but by training the mind, athletes can unlock their full potential and perform consistently, even in the most high-pressure situations.
  • What age group is this course best suited for? ​​
    Mint Condition is best suited for competitors ages 12* and up. The course is designed to meet athletes where they are, regardless of experience, and helps them develop the mental tools necessary to perform at their highest level. Whether they’re just starting or looking to refine their mental game, Mint Condition provides valuable strategies for all stages of athletic development. (*Age is an approximation)
  • How are sessions structured?
    Each week of Mint Condition is designed to build upon the last, with a focus on a specific mental performance skill. Each Sunday evening over 6 weeks, we will meet live as a group on ZOOM. The structure includes a mix of education, practical exercises, and personal application. We will discuss applicable tools and strategies to incorporate into their training or competition. Each session is designed to help athletes gradually develop their mental game, with consistent support and feedback from Coach JA to ensure growth and progress. Competitors will be encouraged to complete the 5-10 mins of daily work through the provided workbook.
